Rajasthan: 4 children drowned in rain filled mine in Udaipur, family refuses to take dead body, this demand

A painful accident on Sunday in Udaipur district of Rajasthan shocked the entire area. Four minor children who went to bathe in a mine in Dabok police station area drowned and died. After the incident, weeds were mourned in the village and the family raised the demand for action against the mine owner.

Children went to graze goats in the fields

According to the police, the incident took place in the virgin mine of Dabok police station area. The dying children have been identified as Lakshmi Gameti (14), Bhavesh (14), Rahul (12) and Shankar (13).

It was told that these four went to graze goats in the nearby fields. During this time, the children made up their mind to bathe in the mine and got down in the water. But the water in the mine was quite deep, in which the four innocent drowned on the go.

As soon as the news of the incident spread, the nearby villagers reached the spot in large numbers. The villagers informed the police, after which the team of Dabok police station reached the spot. With the help of local people, the bodies of the children were taken out of the water after hours of hard work. On seeing the dead bodies, there was chaos in the family and the atmosphere of the entire village became turbid.

Family opposition, demand for action on mine owner

The family and villagers were enraged after taking out the dead body. He accused the mine owner of negligence and demanded strict action against him.

Angry relatives also refused to take the dead body. Police and administration officials were busy convincing the family till late night so that the process of post -mortem could be completed.

Children drowned in deep water- police

In this case, Assistant Police Inspector Manohar Singh Deora of Dabok police station said, “The children drowned due to going into deep water.” He informed that the incident is being investigated and further action will be taken after talking to the family.
