Even after the major military action against Pakistan in Operation Sindoor, the Indian Air Force is constantly in giving a edge to preparations. On Tuesday (September 02, 2025), the Indian Air Force started a two-day (2-3 September) maneuver in the Arabian Sea adjacent to Gujarat, which is being done just 200 nautical miles from Karachi, Pakistan.
The Indian Air Force issued a notice to airman for exercise. Under this, this exercise is just 200 nautical miles i.e. 370 km from Pakistan’s Karachi port. It is just 70 nautical miles (about 125 kilometers) from Pakistan’s airspace.
Civil and military aircraft forbidden
The exercise started from 5.30 am on Tuesday morning will run till 8.30 am on Wednesday morning. During this time, all civil and military aircraft are forbidden to enter this area. However, the Indian Air Force has not shared any official information about this exercise.
It is believed that fighter jets like Rafael, Sukhoi-30 MKI, MiG-29, Jaguar, Mirage-20 and Tejas are participating in exercise. During the exercise, practice is being done like live firing and missile firing. In such a situation, the diversion of passenger aircraft becomes important.
India will have to be cautious all the time
Recently, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh and CDS General Anil Chauhan had said that India will have to be vigilant at all times for their defensive preparations. In such a situation, the exercise is a sign of India’s strategic preparations. Air Chief Marshal AP Singh, head of the Indian Air Force, revealed in August that at least 6 military aircraft of Pakistan were killed during Operation Sindoor.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has clearly stated that the operation is going on vermilion, just by giving it a poster (temporarily preventing) Pakistan has been given the opportunity to improve once. If Pakistan carried out any kind of terrorist incident, then this time more bad condition will be done than May 6-7.
