The post meant that both the words Bidi and Bihar start with B. There was a political uproar in Bihar regarding this. Assembly elections are due in Bihar this year and RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav also disagreed with this. In such a situation, the Congress has taken action on this.
After catching up in this case, the social media head of the Kerala unit of the Congress party resigned from his post on Saturday (September 6, 2025). PCC President Sunny Joseph said that the controversial social media post was a mistake and the entire social media team of the state unit will be changed.
