From social service to nation building, know which issues discussed in the All India Coordination meeting of RSS

The three -day All India Coordination meeting of Jodhpur Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) was held in Jodhpur on Sunday (September 07, 2025). In a press conference held on the last day, the Union’s National Publicity Head Sunil Ambekar presented the essence of the discussion held in the meeting and said that workers, national presidents and prominent officials of various organizations from all over the country shared their regional problems, experiences and action plans.

Resolve to increase women’s participation

Sunil Ambekar said that there was a special discussion about the increasing participation of women in the meeting. 887 programs were organized under the campaign ‘Operation Sindoor’ organized for women across the country, in which women participated extensively. Krida Bharti did a comprehensive study on women players and told about their problems.

The study revealed that today many women are actively participating in programs related to yoga, meditation and mental health. Ambekar said, ‘Women’s participation is continuously increasing and we want it to participate and wider. All the Sangh -inspired organizations are constantly trying in this direction.

Comprehensive consideration on education policy

In the meeting, education related institutions churned on the National Education Policy. Organizations like Vidya Bharati, All India National Educational Federation, Education Culture upliftment, Bharatiya Shikshan Mandal and Vidyarthi Parishad shared their role, saying that they are making special efforts to pursue education at the center and state levels from the Indian point of view.

Suggestions were made with experts in rewriting of textbooks in education related institutions including NCERT. Efforts are being made to enrich the courses by including language, history and Indian knowledge tradition.

Serious thinking on social challenges

Ambekar said, ‘The Sangh is a continuous effort to make the common people of the country available in the mother tongue from primary to higher education. Various organizations have started the work of spreading awareness in the society.

Problems arising in different parts of the country were also discussed in the meeting. Regarding the cases of love jihad growing across the country, he said that work is being done on the ground. Many organizations are working for this awareness among people. Along with this, people also need to be aware of how the poison of jihad is being spread among the people.

What did Ambekar say about conversion?

Regarding conversion, Ambekar said that there is a need for awareness for this and awareness should be done and we are working on the ground level to awaken the society. Concern was expressed over the growing conversion and the ill effects of drug addiction in Punjab. All organizations expressed concern over the addiction of drugs and its influence among the youth.

There was also deep concern about illegal infiltration in Bengal and the deteriorating situation of law and order. The solution of the problems arising in the society due to illegal citizens living there was said to be necessary.

Ambekar’s statement about Manipur violence

Efforts were shared to reduce ethnic violence in the northeastern region. Especially after a dispute arising between Cookie and Maetai communities in Manipur, the opening of agreement and route by the Government of India was described as a positive step towards peace. Ambekar said, ‘We are all trying together to maintain love and harmony in various castes and tribes. The place of hate and violence should cooperate and trust.

Contributing to disaster relief operations

Recently, volunteers in the flood affected areas in Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Uttarakhand and Rajasthan made active participation in relief work. Many organizations including Seva Bharati brought relief materials, medical facilities and rehabilitation measures to the needy. Ambekar said, ‘Wherever there is a need, volunteers and organization workers are ready to serve. In the hour of crisis, service to humanity is the highest duty.

Service and challenges in forest dwellers

Various organizations including Vanvasi Kalyan Ashram shared information about working towards education, health and social development in Naxalite violence affected areas. Although violence has decreased, the problems there have not been completely solved yet. Work is being done on hostels, education, health and employment schemes for tribal communities. Organizations are running a special campaign to save tribal youth from Naxalite influences.

Centenary year event and punch change resolution

In the meeting, plans were also discussed regarding the centenary year of the union. Programs are being prepared on subjects like environmental protection, family management, civil duties. Ambekar said, “This event will not be limited only to the centenary year, but in the coming time, the service of the society and the activism of the organization will continue continuously.”

He said, ‘The meeting of the upcoming Executive Board will be held in Jabalpur from 30 October to 1 November. At the same time, on October 2, the revered Sarsanghchalak Dr. Mohan Bhagwat’s address in Nagpur will be a symbol of the beginning of the centenary year.

Service and nationalism in society are objective

This coordination meeting held in Jodhpur was a symbol of collective power and social commitment of various organizations associated with the union. From the participation of women to education, social security, service work, disaster relief, tribal development and peace establishing a new direction, a new direction was decided. All the organizations together resolved to promote cooperation, service and nationalism in the society.
