ED on Saturday (September 06, 2025), MLA K.C. of Chitradurga. Re -raided the locations associated with Virendra. Gold worth crores has been recovered in this raid. 21.43 kg biscuits of 24 carat gold, 10.985 kg silver and about 1 kg of gold jewels have been recovered.

Their total price has been estimated at around Rs 24 crore. With this seizure, the total assets of the total assets recovered in this case have crossed Rs 100 crore. KC Virendra, the main accused in this case and MLA from Chitradurga, was already arrested by ED.

White money used to do black money of fake accounts

On September 04, his custody was extended by the court by 4 more days, so that it could be questioned. ED investigation has revealed that KC Virendra was running many online betting websites. Such as- King567, Raja567, Lion567, Play567, Playwin567.

Through these sites, money was collected from people and then the payment was shown by rotating through different gateways and fake accounts. Investigation also revealed that Virendra and his family made foreign trips worth crores of rupees with these illegal money. Tickets and other expenses were directly raised from accounts associated with betting money.

ED team engaged in investigation

Many luxury vehicles were also purchased from them, but they were registered in the name of different people and companies, so that the real ownership could be hidden. ED says that many more evidence is yet to be found. The team is trying to find out in which other places these money has been invested.
