Hongkong Open: PV Sindhu’s embarrassing defeat, losing lower ranked Denmark player out

Two -time Olympic medalist badminton player PV Sindhu dropped out of Hong Kong Open on Wednesday. Sindhu was out of the tournament by defeating Sindhu in three games by Denmark’s non -seeded line Christophanson.
Sindhu, who lost in the quarter-finals of the BEWF World Championship last month, suffered defeated by a margin of 21-15, 16–21, 19-21 at the hands of Danish shuttler in the final-32 of Hong Kong Open.
This was Sindhu’s first defeat in 6 matches against 25 -year -old Christophysson. She lost the match within a period of less than an hour. Sindhu was quickly out of Swiss and Japan Open this year. He indicated to return to the form by reaching the quarter -finals of the World Championship. But she could not manage to perform strongly in Hong Kong Open.
PV Sindhu took an initial lead of 3–1 in the first game, but Danish Shuttler made a strong comeback to make the score 5–5. Then Sindhu maintained its lead of one point and made the score to 14-13. From here, the Indian shuttler won his game and won the first game by a margin of 6 points.
PV Sindhu also took a 13-12 lead in the second game and it seemed that she would beat the donor player for the sixth consecutive time. But the Indian shuttler overshadowed his mistakes. Sindhu lost five consecutive points and the second game lost by a margin of five points.
