Delhi Police Disclose: Mobile thief gang exposed in religious processions, connection to Nepal!

Crime Branch of Delhi Police has arrested four vicious members of an inter -state gang, who targeted religious beauty and crowded events, stealing expensive mobile phones, police recovered some 45 mobile phones from the possession of the accused which Nepal was supplied. According to Delhi Police, the gang recently active in the Lalbagcha Raja Ganpati Visarjan procession of Mumbai and crowded areas of Juhu Chowpatty. These criminals stole mobile phones among hundreds of people there and were caught red handed while returning to Delhi.

Important action of police on intelligence information

The Crime Branch of Delhi Police had received intelligence that the gang leader Mohammad Shakeel and his companions are returning to Delhi with a stolen phone from Mumbai. Police made the location track of suspected mobile numbers which were matching with Haridwar Express. The police team boarded the train from Mathura railway station and after checking the list of passengers, the four were arrested at Hazrat Nizamuddin station after identifying the accused.

Theft network

Mohammad Shafiq, Shafiq, Shamsul Hasan, Dilshad, who is the gangster of the gang, who was caught by Delhi Police, has been caught as the gangster. The same Delhi Police inquiry revealed that the stolen mobiles would first be taken to Bahraich in UP and were sent to Nepal from there. The gang used to work in different modules so that the police could not catch. Out of the recovered mobiles, 5 phones have been found associated with Mumbai’s registered FIR.

Delhi Police investigation continues

Delhi Police has registered a case against the four accused under Section 35.1 BNSS and started further action. The Mumbai Police has also been informed and they will come to Delhi and take further legal action. The crime branch is now looking for other gang members.
