Hockey Asia Cup 2025: Indian women’s hockey team defeat in final, China won the title by defeating 4-1
The Indian women’s hockey team faced China in the final of Women’s Hockey Asia Cup 2025. Where in the final match, China unilaterally defeated India 4–1 and won the title. At the same time, India started a great start but later China looked completely dominated. With this victory, China also qualified for the Hockey World Cup.
India started well in this match. Shortly after the start of the first quarter, scored against China. Navneet scored the first goal for India in this match. However, there was no goal in the first quarter after this. India started the second quarter of the match with an edge, but then in the 21st minute, Chinese captain Jijia scored a goal against India to make the score 1-1. Till the second quarter i.e. half time, both teams were at 1-1.
The third quarter of the match began with one equality but by the end of it, Lee Hong scored the second goal for his team. After the end of the third quarter, China took a 2–1 lead in the match. In the fourth quarter, for China, Ju Mirang scored a third goal for his team and gave the team a 3–1 lead. Then China’s Fen Eugia scored the fourth goal to make the score 4–1.
