MLM scam of cheating of 521 crore, ED raids on absconding directors bases

The Ranchi team of ED conducted a large raid on 16 September 2025 in Delhi, Noida, Ghaziabad, Vaishali and Dehradun in Bihar. This action was taken under the Money Laundering Act. The case is of Maxigon Touch Private Limited and its directors Chander Bhushan Singh and Priyanka Singh, who cheated the public for billions of rupees.

The investigation of ED started on the basis of FIR recorded in Jharkhand, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan and Karnataka. In these complaints, the company and its directors were accused of cheating people. ED investigation revealed that the company implicated people in the name of MLM i.e. Multi Level Marketing Scheme.

People deposited money after coming to the company

People were told that if they invest money, they will get a big profit every month. Also, a referral bonus will also be given on connecting others. In this greed, thousands of people got into a trap and the company deposited about Rs 521 crore in more than 21 bank accounts. After collecting so much money, directors Chander Bhushan Singh and Priyanka Singh escaped with public money.

For the last 3 years, both these have been escaping from the police and agencies. Investigation revealed that he bought many benami properties from money and tried to white money through cash transactions. To avoid arrest, these people used different names and places by making fake ID cards. One of these names was Deepak Singh.

The evidence found during the raid to the ED has fake ID card, diary and hand notes, which accounts for cash transactions and transactions. Apart from this, digital evidence like check books laptops and mobiles of many bogus companies has been recovered.

Investigation also revealed that despite absconding, the accused were still running a new fraud scheme. The ED has made it clear that the investigation of this scam is still going on and more revelations can be made in the coming time.
