Ambedkarnagar: Stirred by kidnapping of 56 women in a month, questions started arising

In the last one month in Ambedkarnagar, 56 cases of kidnapping of girls have been registered in various police stations. Of these, 5 cases are related to other communities, so many cases filed in a month are raising questions on law and order.

However, the police say that most of these cases are related to love affair. Police has recovered 49 girls out of these and legal action has been taken against the accused. At the same time, 49 girls have been recovered from the police, in which 40 girls are minors.

56 cases are registered in different police stations

In August, 56 cases have been registered in various police stations in Ambedkarnagar, while in many other cases, the family did not write the cases for fear of localization. After 56 cases of kidnapping of girls in just one month, people started questioning law and order.

This issue started trending on social media too, while it is also being posted by linking it with conversion. There was a stir in the police department due to questioning the law and order. After which the police came into action and started investigating these cases.

Police SP cleaned

Giving his clarification on this, the Superintendent of Police has said that in the month of August, 56 cases of district police stations have been registered, most of them are related to love affair. At the same time, 49 of these girls have been recovered and action has also been taken against the accused on the basis of evidence.

Out of 49 girls recovered, 40 were minors. There are only 5 cases in a month which are related to different communities. Of these, three cases are such that the kidnapped is of Hindu and accused Muslim religion, out of which three have been recovered.

Legal action against accused

While in two, accused Hindus and girls are Muslims, legal action has been taken against the accused. At the same time, no case of involvement of any organized gang has been reported in this episode.

There is anger among Hinduist leaders in this matter and they say that the game of differences is going on in the district. Arvind Pandey, the province head of Awadh province of Vishwa Hindu Parishad, has alleged that Love Jihad is spreading rapidly in the district.
