Rahul Gandhi’s statement on Election Commission press conference
Addressing a public meeting in Sasaram, Bihar, Congress MP Rahul Gandhi said, “The Election Commission has held a press conference on Sunday (August 17). I ask that if you enacted CCTV law, why change it. Why do you know that no case can be filed on the Election Commission. No court can file a case?
He said, “This law was enacted by Modi-Amit Shah so that votes can be stolen. But we will not allow the vote to be stolen. Modi and the Election Commission should understand that I and Tejashwi are not afraid of you. The truth of the vote theft will put in front of every citizen of India. The police here put the barricad so that we could not come forward. But we have come to the barricade. You also come.
People have been suspected of vote theft for a long time- Rahul Gandhi
Rahul Gandhi said, “We have started this Voter Adhikar Yatra in Bihar. Because for a long time people suspect that our votes are being stolen. Take the example of Maharashtra. Take the example of Maharashtra. The Lok Sabha elections were held in Maharashtra and the India alliance won. After four months, the assembly elections were held and the BJP’s alliance in the same Maharashtra won a huge victory and our coalition did not disappear anywhere.”
He said, “When we investigated, it was found that the Election Commission magically made one crore new voters after four months of the Lok Sabha elections. Wherever new voters came, the BJP won. Our votes were not reduced. India alliance got the same votes in the assembly, as many votes were received in the Lok Sabha. But the BJP got all the new voters. So we got suspicious.”
If we question the Election Commission, we will not tell- Rahul Gandhi
The Congress leader said, “We told the Election Commission to explain to us about it. Where are these one crore voters from? They say that they will not give electronic voter list.
