Attempted attempt to infiltrate Indo-Pak border failed, BSF caught injured in encounter

Border security forces have detained a Pakistani national who tried to cross the border on Monday (August 11, 2025). According to the official statement of the BSF, the person has been caught in an injured state trying to infiltrate India on the international border.

According to PTI, BSF personnel opened fire in view of the activities of a group of people trying to infiltrate the country on the international border in Kathua, Jammu and Kashmir. According to the official statement of the BSF, on the evening of 11 August 2025, BSF personnel were shown suspicious activity on the border, in which a Pakistani citizen crossed the international border and was moving rapidly towards the border fence in Kathua district of Jammu. The soldiers warned him, but he did not pay attention.

The soldiers fired due to the possibility of danger

The BSF said, ‘The soldiers shot him on his leg with fear of danger. The person was later taken into custody. He said that a protest has been lodged in front of Pakistani Rangers on the international border. BSF officials said that the injured intruders have been taken to the hospital for treatment. The reason behind his identity and the conspiracy to illegally enter India is being ascertained.

Attempt to infiltrate India-Nepal border

On Sunday evening, a Chinese citizen on the Indo-Nepal border was arrested for trying to illegally enter India. Ajit Pratap Singh, in -charge of Sonauli police station, said that a person coming from Nepal from Nepal was arrested by the Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) during a regular investigation in Sonauli area on Sunday evening. According to a PTI report, the person had Chinese passport, but he did not have Indian visa papers and valid documents.
