Attempts to break global silence on Gaza massacre, Jamaat-e-Islami Hind meets Ambassadors of 7 countries
The Jamaat-e-Islami Hind has intensified its diplomatic efforts to reveal the human devastation in Gaza by meeting with representatives of seven embassies in New Delhi. Two of these meetings were in the form of joint delegation with Muslim organizations, while five meetings were particularly from the Jamaat delegation.
The delegation visited European Union, France, Gambia, Iran, Indonesia, Egypt and Jordan embassies. These trips are a part of the broader protests and public protests across the country, from which it is to ensure that the voice of Indian Muslims is directly heard in diplomatic circles.
Five lakh children deprived of education
Memorandum was presented during the meetings and discussions were held with ambassadors and senior diplomats. The delegations attracted attention to the level of destruction in Gaza. Since October 2023, more than 100,000 innocent Palestinians, including about 20,000 children, have been killed in continuous Israeli bombing.
He threw light on the threat of a large famine due to the destruction of about 90 percent medical facilities, a huge shortage of food and medicines, the deprivation of five lakh children and the ongoing blockade. The memorandum urged the concerned governments to publicly condemn the indiscriminate use of the force against the infrastructure of citizens in Gaza and take a strong moral stance, as it is a severe violation of the international human law.
Support of United Nations resolutions
He appealed for accountability by supporting international legal action against Israeli leaders responsible for war crimes and the United Nations resolutions to end illegal occupation of Palestinian areas. The delegations urged these governments to keep military, economic and diplomatic cooperation with Israel suspended until it follows international law and stops his aggression.
The establishment of sovereign Palestine state is a permanent solution
He urged immediate commitments for human relief by increasing support with institutions like UNRWA and facilitating the opening of human corridors to provide food, water, fuel and medical supplies to the surrounded people.
The delegations emphasized that the right to rule should be upheld through the self -determination, sovereignty and their legitimately elected representatives of the Palestinian people. The establishment of an independent and sovereign state of Palestine is the only justified and permanent solution of conflict.

Jamaat-e-Islami Hind has confirmed that more embassies will be contacted as part of their continuous efforts to gather international opinions in support of Palestine in the coming days. Describing the reason behind the diplomatic effort of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind, its president Syed Saadatullah Hussaini said, “The neutrality in front of the massacre is connivance.”
Hussaini further said, ‘Gaza people are being given collective punishment and the world cannot remain silent. Through the protests at the grassroots level and interaction with the embassies, our efforts are to ensure that the voice of Palestinians reaches every corridor of power.
