VIP chief Mukesh Sahni on Sunday spoke in detail from ABP News on seat sharing and his party’s role in the grand alliance. He said that talks on seat sharing in the grand alliance for the assembly elections are going well. There is no dispute about the seats and his party will contest elections under the leadership of Tejashwi Yadav.

What did Congress say when given 66 seats?

In response to a question, he said that there was no discussion on the number of seats in the meeting, but the availability of candidates in 121 seats and the possibility of victory was considered. At the same time, Mukesh Sahni spoke about 60 seats for his party and the post of Deputy Chief Minister. He said that the VIP party is ready to compromise on 60 to 55 and then 51 seats. Sahni mentioned the support received by his party in the ‘Vote Rights Yatra’ and said that VIPs have got 13-14% of the votes in the by-election. He said that “Deputy CM will be from VIP party”.

Chief Minister’s face told Tejashwi Yadav

Sahni described Tejashwi Yadav as the Chief Minister’s face of the grand alliance. VIP President Mukesh Sahni said that “there is no dispute about seats and the party will contest elections under the leadership of Tejashwi Yadav. We are discussing every seat. Our conversation is going on very smoothly. We have to contest elections under the leadership of Tejashwi Yadav. There is no dispute about seats in the grand alliance.”

At a rally, he also spoke on the video with objectionable comments against the Prime Minister’s mother and told it the act of a supporter and said that the person was a man of BJP. Sahni accused the BJP of wandering from real issues.
