On Monday (September 22, 2025) in Amar Colony, the capital of the country, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) National President JP Nadda discussed tea with traders. JP Nadda met shopkeepers and informed them about the Next Generation GST reforms implemented by the Narendra Modi government. During this, Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva was also present with him.

BJP national president JP Nadda gave the message of Prime Minister Modi to the shopkeepers during the discussion on tea and assured him that this reform would make the business atmosphere easier.

Traders expressed satisfaction

During this time, representatives of textiles, medicines and other areas thanked Prime Minister Modi and said that the new GST provisions will facilitate business. He believes that improvement in tax system will benefit not only traders but also consumers.

During this, many senior leaders and activists including BJP MP and National Media chief Anil Baluni, MLA Neeraj Basoya, Corporation Councilor Sharad Kapoor and Rajpal were also present. Apart from this, a large number of local shopkeepers also became part of this dialogue.

Benefits of exemption reached the public- JP Nadda

Talking to reporters, JP Nadda said that the new phase of GST has come into force in the whole country and it is getting wide support. He appealed to the shopkeepers that the benefits of tax exemption should reach the consumers directly and people should give priority to indigenous products.

Expect cheap shopping in festivals

BJP President JP Nadda assured that consumers will get goods at low prices in festivals like Navratri, Dussehra, Diwali, Chhath and Dhanteras. He said that this reform will provide relief to crores of families and strengthen the economy.

Enthusiasm on the face of shopkeepers- Sachdeva

Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva said that the impact of the reforms was clearly visible in the enthusiasm of the shopkeepers. According to him, consumers are also happy with this step because many items related to everyday and festive shopping have now become economical. Sachdeva described it as a special gift from the Modi government before the festivals for the people of Delhi. He said that people will not only save by purchasing Made in India products, but will also strengthen the campaign of self -reliant India.
