BJP strongly supported ‘one country, one election’, targeting Congress regarding EVM and ECI

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders strongly supported the proposal of ‘one country, one election’ on Sunday (September 7, 2025) and criticized the Congress’ views about EVMs and Election Commission of India (ECI).

BJP national spokesperson Gaurav Bhatia said that the idea of ​​’one country, one election’ has received huge support across the country. He said, ‘Baba Saheb B. R. Ambedkar gave the constitution to our country and if any leader is ensuring that the Constitution is properly followed, then he is Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

He said that after traveling across the country on the issue of ‘one country, one election’, he found that the people of the country and even Karnataka want change and development. Bhatia said in a conversation with reporters in Bengaluru before attending a meeting on ‘one country, one election’, “Therefore, this is an idea that time has come to implement. No one can stop the proposal for one country, one election. He said, ‘Prime Minister Narendra Modi has already made major constitutional changes.’

Congress raised questions on EVMs, BJP Had retaliated

On the question of EVMs by the Congress, BJP spokesperson Gaurav Bhatia said, “The Bharatiya Janata Party is like a good student who performs well in the exam and after passing the exam, expresses his gratitude to the people of the country and the state, while the Congress is like a student who does not study, takes classes and blames EVMs when he fails.”

BJP spokesperson targeted Rahul Gandhi

He alleged, ‘This reflects the petty politics and constant pessimism of the corrupt Congress party.’ Describing Rahul Gandhi as the biggest hydrogen bomb of Indian politics, he said, “The problem is that he burst and when he bursts, the Congress party burst.”
