‘Brother came, sisters come, their visit will not make any difference’, Ravi Shankar Prasad said on Rahul and Priyanka’s voter rights journey
Ravi Shankar Prasad, a senior leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party and MP Ravi Shankar Prasad, has attacked the ongoing voter rights yatra under the leadership of Congress MP Rahul Gandhi in Bihar. On Tuesday (August 26, 2025), Rahul Gandhi’s sister and Lok Sabha MP Priyanka Gandhi Vadra also attended the yatra, to which Ravi Shankar Prasad said that brothers come, sisters, come and visit will not make any difference. Will do the same wrong statements again.
According to IANS report, Ravi Shankar Prasad said that it has become a habit of Rahul Gandhi to abuse the media, CBSE, CAG and now the Election Commission. He said, ‘Why did Rahul Gandhi not file an affidavit? Because they knew that action would be taken on lying. The same attitude was also adopted in Pegasus and Rafael case. They have only one mantra, neither Qaeda, nor law right, what Rahul says is right, but the country will not work like this.
Talking to reporters, Ravi Shankar Prasad said these things somewhere. Ravi Shankar Prasad said that Rahul Gandhi and the Congress will give a befitting reply to their false things. At the same time, he also expressed displeasure over the statement of Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, in which the DNA of Bihar was questioned.
Ravi Shankar Prasad said, ‘There is a legacy of Emperor Ashoka in DNA of Bihar. Mahatma Gandhi’s inspiration is in Bihar’s DNA. When Gandhi became Mahatma, he came to Champaran and started Satyagraha from here. I would urge Revanth Reddy to know a little Bihar.
In the Lok Sabha, under the leadership of Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi, India Block has taken out a ‘Voter Adhikar Yatra’ in Bihar, in which the leaders of the Grand Alliance including Tejashwi Yadav of Rashtriya Janata Dal are joining. The tenth day of the yatra on Tuesday began with Supaul district. The journey was given a break on Monday.
Rahul Gandhi’s ‘Voter Adhikar Yatra’ started on August 17 from Sasaram in Bihar. This 16 -day journey will pass through about 20 districts and will complete the journey of 1,300 km. The journey will conclude with a big rally in Patna on September 1. The journey reached Supaul via Aurangabad, Gaya, Sheikhpura, Katihar, Purnia, Munger, Bhagalpur.
