Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) supremo Mayawati has called an important meeting in Lucknow on 7 September. All the district in -charge, district president and coordinator will participate in this meeting. BSP State President Vishwanath Pal said that this meeting will be very important, in which many big issues are likely to be discussed.

Although he did not give much information about the party’s strategy, but according to sources, this meeting will be focused on the preparations for the upcoming Uttar Pradesh Panchayat Election 2025 and organizational changes.

Panchayat election 2025 Emphasis on strategy of

According to sources, Mayawati can instruct the workers to activate the workers at the ground level and strengthen the strategy in this meeting. The party aims to increase its reach to village and to charge the workers completely. For this, the plan to install a chaupal in the villages can also be discussed under the organization expansion. Also, a decision can be taken to remove the officials who do not work on the land, so that new energy is communicated in the organization.

Role of Akash Anand and organizational change

Recently, Mayawati has again entrusted her nephew Akash Anand the responsibility of national convenor. After this appointment, there are speculations that there may be major changes at the organization level in the September 7 meeting. After the responsibility of Akash Anand received, the party is working towards promoting youth leadership and adopting a new strategy. It is believed that along with strengthening the role of Akash Anand in this meeting, new responsibilities can be distributed in the organization.

In the meeting, on the occasion of the death anniversary of BSP founder Kanshi Ram on 9 October, the proposed big program in Lucknow is also likely to be discussed. The party wants to showcase its strength by organizing a huge program on this day. The event will not only be an opportunity to remember Kanshi Ram’s contribution, but will also have a platform to unite BSP workers and supporters.

The party did not get any seat in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, after which Mayawati has insisted on regeneration of the organization.
