Second, America is imposing tariffs to bring some special sectors such as automobiles, leather and textile to them (America) and third, to increase revenue generation from agriculture and oil sector.

Negotiations will continue about tariff- government

In the meeting, the committee has been told that the government hopes that the talks will continue. There will be no agreement in agriculture and dairy sector. The government is constantly assessing the impact of tariffs. The government is talking to all stakeholders about this. The government is also assessing the situation by negotiating with exporters.

Work on other options to reduce the effects of tariffs

At the same time, the government is also working on other options to reduce the impact of tariffs. According to sources, the trade agreement that is being discussed with other countries like European Union is being considered to be finalized early. Apart from this, trade agreement will be done with more new countries.

Apart from the trade sector, India’s relations with America are good. According to sources, it was told by the government that the resolution was passed on the UN Security Council (UNSC) and the Pahalgam terror attacks. Tahwwur Rana was extraditing the US and TRF was declared a terrorist organization. All this shows that relations with America are good. Apart from this, there has been no conversation between the US and India given in the meeting about Pakistan, nor has to be allowed to do any by trade.
