Congress leader Pawan Kheda’s big statement on the question of CM face of the Grand Alliance in Bihar, said- ‘When the sun is shining in the sky …’,
Senior Congress leader Pawan Kheda indicated on Wednesday (September 24, 2025) that in the Bihar assembly elections, there was no objection to the party to make the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Tejashwi Yadav the face of the post of Chief Minister of India alliance, although he avoided making a formal announcement.
On the sidelines of the meeting of the Congress Working Committee (CWC), the head of the party’s publicity and media departments talked to reporters. When he was questioned by the Grand Alliance in declaring Yadav as the Chief Ministerial candidate, he said, ‘We are contesting elections on issues. Facials are in front of you. Everyone knows everyone. You are asking a question that everyone already knows.
When the sun is shining in the sky … Pawan Kheda
In the year 2020, when he was asked why it was not done this time, he said in a poetic manner, “When the sun is shining in the sky, it would not be required.”
Kheda rejected Chirag’s claim
Kheda also rejected the claim of Union Minister Chirag Paswan that the CWC meeting in Patna is an exercise to pressurize its colleagues. He said, ‘There is no such thing as showing strength among the brothers.’ On the question of seat sharing, Kheda said, ‘Soon all the information will be shared.’
In Bihar CWC Pawan Kheda said on meeting
Apart from RJD in the India alliance in Bihar, the CPI (Male) Liberation, CPI (Male), CPI and former Minister Mukesh Sahni’s developing human party are included. When reporters asked that this is the first time after independence that the CWC meeting is being held in Bihar, the Congress leader retaliated, ‘For the first time, the vote has also been stolen.’
Kheda alleged, ‘The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is convinced only to remain in power because she steals votes. This ego of the ruling party has become a cause of negligence towards serious problems like unemployment. He stressed, “This meeting of CWC is not from the point of view of Bihar elections but to strengthen the foundation of our democracy.”
