Congress retaliate over the allegations of Anurag Thakur, said- the whole country is putting the slogan of ‘vote thieves, pimples’
Congress spokesperson Pawan Kheda, citing the revelations made by BJP leader Anurag Thakur about fake voters, said on Thursday (July 14, 2025) that this has exposed the nexus between the BJP and the Election Commission. It has also been proved that the Lok Sabha elections were held on the basis of fake voter list.
Kheda said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s seat was also rigged. Narendra Modi was losing to Varanasi for half the time on the day of counting, but he got a booster dose of fake voters and he won. He said that if the Congress gets the electronic voter list of Varanasi, then it will be proved that the Prime Minister is sitting on the stolen chair.
The slogan of ‘Vote thief, Gaddi Quit’
Referring to Rahul Gandhi’s press conference on August 07, the Congress leader said that there was a stir in Indian politics on that day. With this, the BJP was in shock for six days and then Anurag Thakur was sent for a press conference, in which Anurag Thakur claimed fake voters in 6 Lok Sabha constituencies including Rae Bareli, Amethi, Diamond Harbor, Kannauj.
Kheda said that this has made the role of the Election Commission even more serious. Thakur has proved the revelations made by Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi a week ago in the Lok Sabha. He said that now not only the opposition, but the whole country is chanting the slogan of ‘Vote Chor, Gaddi Quit’.
Electronic voter list for BJP only
Pawan Kheda said that it took 6 months for the Congress to gather the figures of Mahadevpura, an assembly constituency due to the Election Commission not giving electronic voter list. At the same time, Anurag Thakur got the figures of 6 Lok Sabha constituencies in just 6 days. He said, it shows that the Election Commission has an electronic voter list, but it is not given to the opposition, only to the BJP.
He described the data presented by Anurag Thakur as criminal evidence and demanded that they be handed over to the Congress. Giving the example of MP Priyanka Gandhi’s Wayanad seat, Kheda said that Anurag Thakur claimed to have 93 thousand fake votes, while Priyanka Gandhi won by 4 lakh 10 thousand votes.
No notice against Anurag Thakur
Kheda said that if these fake votes were not there, then Priyanka Gandhi would win by 5 lakh votes. Similarly, Kheda also mentioned the Rae Bareli seat and said that if there were no fake votes, then there would have been more difference of victory of Rahul Gandhi.
Pawan Kheda said that during the press conference of Rahul Gandhi, the Election Commission issued a notice and asked him to file an affidavit about the revelations, but Anurag Thakur was not given any notice even after 24 hours of making similar disclosure.
Election Commission can cancel Lok Sabha elections
Kheda also asked that when both sides are questioning the Election Commission, where is the Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar hidden. He said that after the revelations of Anurag Thakur, now the last Lok Sabha election should be canceled.
