Directed by Tushar Jalota, ‘Param Sundari’ has completed a week in theaters. The film started a bit slow and earned Rs 7.25 crore on the first day (Friday). But then it jumped due to word-off-mouth on weekends and its collection increased to Rs 9.25 crore on Saturday and Rs 10.25 crore on Sunday, causing the total collection of opening weekend to Rs 26.75 crore. However, like several recent releases, Param Sundari also faced Monday’s Litmus Test and did a business of Rs 3.25 crore with a decline of 68.29%. Then on Tuesday, a rise of 30 per cent was shown and earned Rs 4.25 crore. But on Wednesday, Param Sundari again fell victim to ‘recession and it was able to earn only 2.85 crores.

• At the same time, according to the Early Trend Report of Caiknilk, ‘Param Sundari’ has done a business of 2.75 crores on the 7th day of its release i.e. Thursday.
• With this, the total earnings of ‘Param Sundari’ have now increased to Rs 39.85 crore.

The estimated cost of this film directed by Tushar Jalota is said to be 60 crores. Seeing the earnings of ‘Param Sundari’ on the open weekend, it seemed that it would collect its entire budget in a week. However, Siddharth Malhotra and Jahnavi Kapoor starrer is now declining in this film’s earnings. It has recovered 65% of its budget in 7 days of release.

Now everyone’s eyes are on the second weekend. However, on 5 September, Tiger Shroff’s rebel 4 and The Bengal files are being released. In such a situation, these films can prove to be a big threat to the earnings of ‘Param Sundari’. If this film of Madock Films Production is not able to show good growth in the next three days, then success can be out of its reach.
