Earthquake tremors in Delhi, Noida and Gurugram

In Delhi, Noida and Gurugram, earthquake tremors were felt at around 12.50 pm. According to the German Research Center for Geochens (GFZ), an earthquake of 6.2 magnitude occurred in the southeastern part of Afghanistan.

On social media platform X, many users spoke of feeling of earthquake in Delhi-NCR.

At the same time, the European-Bhumidhagriya Earthquaker Center (EMSC) said that the earthquake came late on Sunday night and its depth was about 35 kilometers. The tremors in Afghanistan were felt in other parts of the country including Jammu and Kashmir, Haryana and Delhi.

Earthquake in Hindu Kush region

American seismologists reported that there was a strong earthquake in the hill Hindu Kush region of Afghanistan late on Sunday night. According to the news agency AFP, the center of the earthquake was located 42 km east of Jalalabad. According to USGS, the earthquake occurred at 11:47 pm local time. Despite the intensity and low depth of the shaking, there is no immediate news of casualties.

According to the National Disaster Response Force, during the earthquake-
