ED’s big action in the QFX scam case, assets worth crores were attached, invested by luring thousands
The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has carried out major action on Saturday (August 30, 2025) in the QFX/YFX/YORKERFX/Botbro Forex scam case. The Enforcement Directorate has attached assets worth about Rs 9.31 crore in this scam. The Central Investigation Agency carried out this action under the PMLA Act on Tuesday (August 26, 2025) this week.
Flats, plots and many acres of agricultural land attached
According to the Enforcement Directorate (ED), the properties that have been attached include 45 flats, plots and several acres of agricultural land. These properties extend to Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana and Himachal Pradesh. Apart from this, cash balances lying in many banks have also been seized. All these properties were purchased in the name of QFX Scam accused Nawab alias Lavish Chaudhary, his partner Rajendra Kumar Sood and his agents-family.
In February and July action, ED had seized 394 crores in 194 bank accounts
Investigation by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) reveals that between 2019 and 2025, the QFX Group invested thousands of people by running the Ponzi-Cum-MLM scheme. The company gave investors a monthly return of up to 5-6 percent, but in reality there was no trading. Investors’ money was rotated in different bank accounts and further invested in real estate and family properties.
Earlier in February and July 2025, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) raided the QFX group and seized 194 bank accounts, which had a total of Rs 394 crore. However, the assets that have been attached in the action of this week of ED are the next step of the same action.
FIRs filed in many states of the country
Many FIRs have been lodged across the country regarding QFX SCAM. Which includes Himachal, Assam, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh and Haryana. The ED says that so far the evidence collected clearly shows that investors were fraudulently invested in different companies and invested in private properties, so that the real sources of money could be hidden.
