‘Election Commission is not giving information to CID’, Rahul Gandhi’s claim regarding ‘vote theft’

Congress MP Rahul Gandhi on Saturday (September 20, 2025) accused the Election Commission of not providing the information sought by the CID of the Karnataka government regarding the alleged ‘vote theft’ in the state.

Rahul Gandhi, who arrived in Wayanad on Friday (September 19, 2025) with his mother Sonia Gandhi, told reporters here that the ‘Crime Investigation Department’ (CID) of the Government of Karnataka has sent several letters to the Election Commission to seek information about the numbers used in ‘Vote theft’, but the Commission is not providing it.

Commission is not giving information sought by police

The Congress MP claimed that Gyanesh Kumar is the Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) and he is not giving information sought by the police. He said, ‘There can be no greater prosecution on the CEC. Police is asking for information and they are not giving information. This is not my statement. This is a fact, which is clearly present.

Rahul said that the Congress will show the evidence of the alleged ‘vote theft’ in such a way that no one will have any doubt that Prime Minister Narendra Modi did so and won the election. He said, ‘As I have said in my two press conferences, we are going to disclose a’ hydrogen bomb ‘, which will completely destroy the current situation of reality. We have clear evidence of what we are saying.
