‘First Made in India Semiconductor Chip will come in the market by the end of the year, PM Modi’s big announcement

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has made a big announcement on Saturday (August 23, 2025) regarding the first Made in India semiconductor chip built in India. PM Modi said that by the end of the year 2025, the first Made in India semiconductor chip will be available in the market. He also said that the government is working fast to develop the Made in India 6G network.

Giving his address in the Economic Times World Leaders Forum 2025, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that India had lost the opportunity of semiconductor’s domestic construction decades ago, but now the situation has changed completely.

Semacist chip could be made in India only 50-60 years ago- PM Modi

PM Modi said, “We all know that construction of semiconductor could be started in India 50-60 years ago, but India lost that opportunity and the same situation remained ahead of it. He said, “The first semiconductor chip developed indigenously will come in the market by the end of this year.”

Prime Minister puts Prakash on the development of telecom technology

At the same time, Prime Minister Narendra Modi also highlighted the efforts being made in the field of telecom technology. He said, “We are working fast to develop the Made in India 6G network. The government’s focus is on introducing its steps with progress in the world.”

India’s EV export is going to reach 100 countries

Announcing this during his address, Prime Minister Modi said, “I want to tell you about another success in India. India is soon going to become a big force in the field of electric vehicle (EV). India is now going to export electric vehicles in 100 countries of the world. A big program related to this is being organized on Tuesday (26 August, 2025).”

PM Modi appreciated India’s economy

Prime Minister Narendra Modi appreciated India’s economy, saying, “India, which follows the mantra of reform, performance and transform, is in a position to get the world out of a slow growth rate today. We are not people who sit on the banks of the stagnant water and throw pebbles in it. We are the people who can turn the sharp flow.”
