Fraud of crores by misusing the post, relative of this minister arrested in land scam

The property cell of Mumbai Crime Branch has arrested Rajendra Lodha, a cousin of Mangal Prabhat Lodha, a minister in the Maharashtra government. Rajendra Lodha, Lodha has been a former director of the developers, arrested him in a fraud of Rs 85 crore. He was arrested from Worli area of ​​Mumbai and then produced in court, where the court sent him to police custody till 23 September. Large -scale economic scam has been revealed in Mumbai’s renowned real estate company Lodha Developers Limited.

It is alleged that Rajendra Lodha misused his rights while holding the post of Director from September 2013 to 18 August 2025. The company had given him only the right to acquire land, but had no right to sell. Despite this, he betrayed the company with his son Sahil Lodha, Usha Properties’ Bharat Narasana, Nitin Wador and Ritesh Narasana and sold the company’s official land and TDR at low prices.

Big disclosure in investigation

Investigation has revealed that Rajendra Lodha also sold such lands, which were not actually in the possession of a person named Rajaram Patil and Nilesh Aggarwal. The company was assured that the land is under their authority and on this basis, huge amount and flats were paid to them.

This fraud benefited the accused side of crores, while the company suffered a loss of about 85 crores. In this entire scam, the role of Smt. Nisha Menon, Mrs. Neha Desai, Amit Kamble and seller Sujitkumar Jeet Pratap Singh and Vinod Patil have also come out in this entire scam.

Company directors threatened

It is being told that they all helped the accused from time to time. Not only this, the directors of the company were also threatened that they would not be left alive. The complainant has also presented several important documents along with his statement.

These include Power of Attorney, Abhishek Lodha’s email, MOU of Nitalas village, MOU, agreement and copy of resignation. On the basis of these evidences, police and investigative agencies have now demanded strict legal action against the accused.
