‘GEN Z Constitution of the country will save,’ Rahul Gandhi played on allegations of vote theft ‘Nepal’s bets’
Former Congress president and MP Rahul Gandhi continued his campaign against the alleged ‘vote theft’ and raised the topic of removing the names of ‘pro -Congress voters’ from voter lists on Thursday (September 18, 2025) and alleged that Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Dnyanesh Kumar is protecting ‘Democracy killing’ and ‘vote thieves’.
Rahul Gandhi also wrote a post on X late in the evening in which he said that the youth and Gen-z will save the constitution. On the social media platform X, he wrote-‘Yuva of the country, the country’s students, Gen Z will save the constitution, protect democracy and stop theft. I am always standing with them. Jai Hind!’

Earlier, Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, told the media at the Congress headquarters ‘Indira Bhavan’ that the Chief Election Commissioner should stop the ‘excuse’ and the CID of Karnataka should hand over the evidence of ‘vote theft’. The Election Commission termed his allegations wrong and baseless.

The ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) claimed that repeated allegations against constitutional institutions by Rahul Gandhi reflect their and Congress’s mistrust in Indian democracy and they do politics to save the intruder. Home Minister Amit Shah also termed Rahul Gandhi’s allegation of ‘vote theft’ as’ false discourse ‘and said that’ he (Congress leaders) had adopted a similar strategy earlier when he alleged that we want to end reservation for scheduled castes and scheduled tribes, while nothing happened.
Anurag Thakur also targeted
BJP leader Anurag Thakur said that ‘infiltrators’ politics is the only agenda of Rahul Gandhi. He alleged that Congress leaders can talk about the interests of Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST) and Other Backward Classes (OBC), but their attempt to save illegal voters by opposing the review of the voter list being conducted by the Election Commission will harm their interests of these communities.
What did Rahul Gandhi claim?
Earlier, Rahul Gandhi, citing the figures of Karnataka constituency Aland, claimed that before the election, the votes of Congress supporters were systematically removed. On this, the Commission said, ‘The allegations made by Rahul Gandhi are wrong and baseless. No vote can be removed by any person online, as Gandhi has made a misconception.
