Union Textile Minister Giriraj Singh has given such indications in his statement on Thursday (August 14, 2025). He said that after the American tariff, there was a meeting with 100 exporters associated with the textile sector.

Union Textile Minister Giriraj Singh said that we had called around 100 exporters and everyone said in unison that we are standing with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s stand because we have also suffered Corona. Even at that time we stood firmly.

How many billion business is there with America
Giriraj Singh said that today we have the cheapest labor in the world. In 7 countries, we are working only 11 or 12 billion dollars, so we will now work on new options after American tariffs. There is also a textile export of about 11–12 billion with the US. Talks are being held now and whatever form will come ahead, but we are looking at it as an opportunity and the whole industry has said.

Emphasis on increasing exports with European countries
Giriraj Singh said that India’s total textile export is $ 40 billion $ 40 billion. If you see big countries, there is emphasis on increasing exports with countries like Russia, Britain, Germany, European Union, Japan, Australia, France. There are 27 European countries. The people of the industry have said that our spirit should be sent to the Prime Minister.

The Union Minister said that the industry said that we are standing with them and I like it. Whenever a disaster has come in the country, people have stood up. Whether it was Corona or Atal ji, there was an economic restriction. Even then, Bharatvanshi stood. He says that due to the reliable image of the Prime Minister and the growing respect in the world of India, we have helped us to export abroad.
