Technical giant Google on Monday appeared before the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in connection with the money laundering investigation related to the promotion of illegal online betting and gambling advertisements. Meanwhile, in the same case no representative of Meta was presented to investigate the ED. The Central Investigation Agency has called both technical giants to appear today, as they sought additional time after not appearing on July 21. Last week, a Google spokesperson said that it is committed to keeping its platform safe and banning the promotion of illegal gambling advertisements.
