The 56th meeting of the GST Council was held in Delhi on Wednesday, in which many important proposals were approved. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said that now only two GST slabs will remain- 5 percent and 18 percent. With this, slabs of 12 percent and 28 percent have been abolished.
