Former Indian cricketer Harbhajan Singh narrated a lot to Lalit Modi after sharing the video of the slap scandal. Bhajji further said that ’18 years ago, people had forgotten it and they are reminding people about that once again’. Harbhajan told that he regrets his actions and he is still ashamed of that incident.
Harbhajan Singh slapped Sreesanth
In IPL 2008, Harbhajan Singh was part of the Mumbai Indians team and Sreesanth used to play for Kings XI Punjab. After the match played between Mumbai and Punjab in the first season of IPL, Harbhajan slapped Sreesanth. The incident took place after the match, whose video was not recorded. While sharing the video, Lalit Modi said that this incident was captured in his security camera.
Sreesanth’s wife also reprimanded
Bhuvaneshwari Kumari, wife of former Indian cricketer Sreesanth, reprimanded Lalit Modi for sharing the video and said that ‘Lalit Modi and Michael Clarke should be ashamed. Both Harbhajan and Sreesanth have moved forward after this matter, they are the father of school going children and still you are scrapping old wounds’. Sreesanth’s wife said that ‘it is very disgusting, ruthless and inhuman’.
