We have also recognized Santhali, Kuraukh, Kudmali, Nepali, Urdu, Rajwanshi, Kamatapuri, Oriya, Punjabi, Telugu languages ​​as government languages. We are also striving for the development of Sadri language.

‘We formed Hindi Academy’
He told that we have formed a Hindi Academy for the development of Hindi language. He said that if we talk about the field of education, Hindi University has been established in Howrah. Degree colleges of Hindi medium have been opened in Banarhat and Naxalbari. Apart from this, Hindi postgraduate courses have also been started in many colleges. Higher secondary question papers are now available in Hindi as well. Students of Ravindra Open School are able to take secondary examination in Hindi language.
‘Two -day government holiday announced to commemorate Chhath Puja’
Bengal CM said that free social security schemes have been started for others including Hindi speaking people working in the unorganized sector. In view of the Gangasagar fair, excellent infrastructure has been developed in that area.
