After the Indian men’s hockey team, now the women’s hockey team is going to be held as the Asia Cup 2025. The tournament will be played from 5 to 14 September. The Indian women’s team will start their campaign against Thailand from 5 September. The tournament will be held in Hangzo, China. Any team who will be the winner of this tournament will enter directly for the 2026 World Cup.
At the moment, eight teams will participate in this tournament and the top two teams from each pool will reach the Super 4 phase. The top two teams of the Super 4 phase will play the final on 14 September.
The Indian team, which won the bronze medal last season, is placed in Pool B with Japan, Thailand and Singapore, while Pool A includes hosts, Korea, Malaysia and Chinese Taipei.
