A heartbreaking incident has come to light from Ramantpur area of Hyderabad, where a person committed suicide by jumping into the pond. As soon as the information was received, his wife also tried to commit suicide by jumping into the same pond. The police took quick action and rescued the wife, but this incident has shocked the local people.
According to local police, Surendra (38), a resident of Ramantpur, ended his life by jumping into the rhythm near Bibinagar. On receiving information about the incident, the police started a search operation. Meanwhile, Surendra’s wife Sandhya Rani (35) also tried to commit suicide by jumping into the same pond. However, the police personnel present on the spot took immediate action and took Sandhya out safely.
Son’s call made people emotional
During the attempt to commit suicide of the woman Sandhya, her son’s Karun Pukar made the people present there emotional. Preliminary investigation by the police has revealed that there was a family dispute between Surendra and Sandhya, due to which Surendra took this suicidal step.
Sandhya admitted to hospital
Police said that Surendra died due to drowning in the pond. After saving Sandhya, he was immediately admitted to the local hospital, where his condition is said to be stable. The police has sent Surendra’s body for postmortem and has started a thorough investigation into the case.
Police is investigating the case
Local people say that Surendra and Sandhya were from a normal family, but in recent times, tension had increased between them. The police is also investigating whether there was any mental pressure or other circumstances, due to which Surendra had to commit suicide by jumping into the pond. At present, the investigation of the entire case is going on.
