The FIH Pro League is scheduled to take up two matches between arch-rivals India and Pakistan in the 2025-26 season. Because Pakistan has accepted the invitation of the International Hockey Federation (FIH) to replace New Zealand.

In fact, New Zealand qualified for the next season of the Pro League by defeating Pakistan in the final of the FIH Nations Cup held in Malaysia earlier this year. However, Hockey New Zealand later indicated that the Black Stics would not accept the invitation to join the tournament.

Therefore, according to the rules, FIH invited runners -up Pakistan which has confirmed its participation.

Let us know that the upcoming men’s session of Pakistan FIH Pro League will include Argentina, Australia, Belgium, England, Germany, India, Netherlands and Spain. Pakistan will replace Ireland in the seventh season of the competition as the Irish team was relaxed after finishing at the bottom in the sixth season.
