India alliance Vice Presidential candidate B.K. Sudarshan Reddy filed his nomination on Thursday (August 21). During this, all the opposition leaders including Congress leader Sonia Gandhi, MP Rahul Gandhi, Samajwadi Party leader Ram Gopal Yadav and Sanjay Raut were present. Sudarshan Reddy will face NDA candidate CP Radhakrishnan in the Vice Presidential election.

Four sets of nomination papers have been filed, which have been signed by 160 MPs including Congress Parliamentary Party chief Sonia Gandhi, Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha, Leader of Opposition in Rajya Sabha, Mallikarjun Kharge, DMK’s Tiruchi Shiva. Sudarshan Reddy has been a former Supreme Court judge and Lokayukta of Goa.
