The Kafa Nations Cup will be held between August 28 and September 8 in Tajikistan and Uzbekistan. In this tournament there Indian football team Will also participate. Let me tell you that as an alternative to Malaysia, the Central Asian Football Association has invited India to play. In the eight team tournaments, Malaysia withdrew the name on July 15, citing the availability of players and logistics. The tournament does not fall into FIFA’s international window which is between 1 to 9 September.

Oman has also been invited to participate in it. The first session of the tournament was held in 2023 in which Iran was victorious. The AIFF is believed to have accepted the invitation, but the final confirmation from the organizers is a request. An AIFF official said that it has not been confirmed yet but we are waiting.

If India plays, it will be the first tournament with the new head coach. The new coach is scheduled to be appointed on August 1. Iran, Afghanistan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgastan and Turkmenistan are participating in this tournament.
