Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu said that he would advise PM Modi to deal with Trump amid tariffs released tariffs between the US and India. Hyderabad MP and AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi targeted Netanyahu over it. Owaisi said that India is not so unfortunate that its Prime Minister has to consult such war criminal and massacre, against whom the International Criminal Court (ICC) ICC warrant is pending.

Asaduddin Owaisi posted on X and said, “Netanyahu is responsible for the massacre of 65,000 Palestinians in Gaza, out of which 20,000 children have been killed. 12 lakh people have become homeless. More than 2,000 United Nations employees have been killed and the international court has been killed against Israel. I hope that Narendra Modi will not stand in the right side of history and will not stand in the right side of history.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Friday (8 August 2025) that he would advise Prime Minister Modi to deal with Trump. Netanyahu said that he would do so privately because both Prime Minister Modi and Trump are his great friends. This week, US President Donald Trump announced to impose an additional 25 per cent tariff on India. With this, America will now collect 50 percent tariffs from India. The initial fee will be effective from August 7 while the additional fee will be applicable from 21 days after August 27.
The foundation of Indo-US relations is very strong- Netanyahu
On this, the Israeli PM said that the foundation of Indo-US relations is very strong and both countries should find a common basis to resolve the fee issue. He said, “There is a basic understanding in relations between India and America. The basis of relationships is very solid. It will be in the interest of India and America to reach a consensus and resolve the fee issue. Such a solution will also be good for Israel because both countries are our friends. “
