India rejected Peter Navaro’s statement of ‘Brahmin’, Mea said a big thing on relations with China
The Ministry of External Affairs (Mea) has made a statement on India’s relations with China and America on Friday (September 5, 2025). Apart from this, information about India’s role in Russia-Ukraine War has also been shared. Foreign Ministry spokesman Randhir Jaiswal addressed a press briefing on Friday.
Mea spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said about the relationship between India and China that Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chinese President Xi Jinping have met in the city of Tianjin in China and we have given information through the press. At the same time, speaking on relations with America, Jaiswal said, ‘Right now India and America are being shared in Alaska, and we are strategically together. Apart from this, our conversation with the American side is also going on on the issue of business.
Whereas on the statement of Trump’s trade advisor Peter Navaro, Mea said, ‘We have seen the statement of Peter Navaro and we deny any such statement. The relationship between the two countries, America and India, is being carried forward with mutual understanding and mutual agenda.
Ministry of External Affairs also made a statement on many other issues
Mea spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said on the role of India in the Russia-Ukraine war, ‘India is trying to restore peace between Russia-Ukraine. We want peace to be established between the two countries as soon as possible.
Whereas on the question of India sharing the flood figure with Pakistan, Jaiswal said, ‘We have been sharing flood figures with Pakistan through diplomatic mediums when needed. This information is being shared through our High Commission.
At the same time, on the partnership of India-Afghanistan, he said, ‘We have long-term relations with the people of Afghanistan. India will continue to support the aspirations and developmental needs of the Afghan people.
On continuing protest against Indian citizens in Australia Mea statement of
Mea said about the ongoing protests against Indians in Australia, ‘We all know that on August 31, there were anti-migrant protests in many cities of Australia. Our High Commission and Consul General Embassy are in regular contact with the Australian government and our community members in this regard. Before the protests began, our High Commission shared the concerns of overseas Indians with the Australian government. We received a formal response from the Australian side, in which he admitted that protests in Australia are a matter of concern for diverse communities of Australia. Also, we have seen that senior leaders and politicians of both the Australian government and the opposition have issued statements supporting Australia’s multi-cultural identity. He has also recognized the role played by the Indian Australian community in Australia’s overall progress and development and he appreciates and accepts this role.
Jaiswal said, ‘We strongly believe that diversity is power. We value a comprehensive strategic partnership with Australia, which has a very important element relationship between our people and in fact it is our strategic relationship. The Government of India is committed to ensuring the welfare and prosperity of all Indians abroad and we are in touch with the Australian government as well as the migrant organization in Australia.
Jaiswal spoke about BRICS and Quad Summit
Foreign Ministry spokesman Randhir Jaiswal said, ‘External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar will attend the BRICS virtual summit on Monday (September 8, 2025). Apart from this, about the quad summit, he said, ‘Quad is an important platform to discuss about shared interests on many issues. The summit among the leaders involved has been set up through diplomatic counseling from the four member countries.
