‘Lord Rama lost his mental balance after separating from wife Sita’, there was a ruckus on the comment of the poet of Tamil Nadu

Vairamuthu Ramasamy, a lyricist and poet from Tamil Nadu, in one of his speeches made a comment about Lord Rama, after which there has been a ruckus in political circles. At the same time, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has accused the poet Vairamuthu of hurting the sentiments of Hindus, condemning the comment about Lord Rama.

Poet Vairamuthu was awarded the nominated award in the name of medieval Tamil poet Kamban, who wrote the Tamil version of the epic Ramayana at a ceremony. At the same time, while addressing the ceremony, Vairamuthu said that Lord Rama lost his mental balance after separating from his wife Goddess Sita.

What did Tamil poet say about Lord Rama,

Vairamuthu said, “After separating from Sita, Rama lost his mental balance and did not even know what they are doing. Under Section 84 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC), if a person carries out an event due to mental disorder or unhealthy mental state, he is not considered a crime.”

He said, “Cambon may not have been aware of this law, but he knew the mind of society and human being very well.” He further said, “Rama has been forgiven by calling Rama completely innocent, which makes Rama a human being and the blame is divine.” Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin himself was also present in the ceremony at the ceremony in which Vairamuthu made this comment about Lord Rama.

BJP expresses outrage over Vairamuthu’s remarks

At the same time, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has raised strong objections to the comment of Tamil poet Vairamuthu. Reacting to this comment, BJP leader CR. Kesavan said in his X post, “Vairamuthu Ramasamy is a embarrassing person who has repeatedly committed crime in insulting the Holy Hindu deities and saying a gross abusive Hindu religion.

The BJP leader said in strong words, “Vairamuthu himself has misinterpreted Kamb Ramayana with a sick mindset and said that Lord Rama had lost his mental balance, so he cannot be blamed under Section 84 (defense of legal insanity) of the IPC.” He said, “Vairamuthu is a shameful person and he should immediately apologize to crores of devotees of Lord Rama and Hinduism.”
