Mahindra and Mahindra Sales Increased In June Know how was the performance of tata motors

Mahindra & Mahindra announced a 14% increase in total vehicle sales for June 2025, reaching 78,969 units including exports as compared to the previous year. The company’s Sports Utility Vehicles (SUV) segment gained an increase with 47,306 units domestically, which reflects an 18% increase, and there are a total of 48,329 units, including exports. The first quarter of FY 2026 (April-June 2025) was a record-breaking period for SUV sales of Mahindra, with 152,067 units sold, which is 22% higher than the 124,248 units sold in the same period last year.

Nalinikanth Golagunta, CEO of M&M’s Automotive Division, highlighted the achievement, saying that in June, we achieved SUV sales of 47,306 units, which is 18% increase, and total vehicle sales were 78,969 units, which is 14% increase compared to the same month last year. The quarter was very positive for us, which was the most quarter ever for SUVs. In the field of commercial vehicles, Mahindra sold 20,575 units domestically in June 2025.

Notable demonstrations include an increase of 37% in the sale of three -wheelers (including electric models), reaching 8,454 units and increased by 4% in light commercial vehicles (LCVs) between 2 and 3.5 tonnes, reaching a total of 16,772 units. However, LCVs of less than 2 tons saw a decline of 20%, sold 2,576 units. Exports increased by a slight 1% in June and reached 2,634 units, but the year-on export figure rose 36% to 9,667 units.

The total domestic wholesale sales of the country’s leading vehicle company Tata Motors declined by 12 percent to 65,019 units. In June 2024, the company sold 74,147 vehicles. Tata Motors reported to the stock market that the sales of passenger vehicles including electric vehicles in the domestic market declined by 15 percent to 37,083 units in June, compared to 43,524 units in the same month a year ago. The sales of total commercial vehicles in the domestic market declined 12 percent to 27,936 units from 30,623 units in June last year.
