Mahindra has launched the updated version of Scorpio-N with Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) and a new Z8T variant. This new variant comes at an initial price of Rs 20.29 lakh (ex-showroom) with manual transmission. Meanwhile, Adas is added to the top-end Z8L variants, a six-seat configuration and diesel engine version with 4WD at now comes at Rs 25.42 lakh (ex-showroom).

Level 2 ADAS has a variety of security facilities, including adaptive cruise control, lane-maping assist, automatic emergency braking, forward collagen warning and more. In Mahindra’s offers, these features are already present in models such as XUV3XO, XUV700 and recently introduced Thar Rocks. To prioritize the safety of passengers, these features have also been included in the brand electric vehicles, such as BE6 and XEV 9E.

In addition, Scorpio-N’s Adas package includes segment-first features such as speed limit assist, which alerts drivers about the existing speed limits, and front vehicle start alerts, which informs the drivers when the front vehicle starts driving. These tasks are complemented by visual alert, acoustic chime and haptic feedback to improve the driver’s awareness and comfort.

The new Z8T variant is located between Z8 and Z8L Trims and has various premium features, such as 18-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, 12-speakers Sony audio system, front parking sensor and front camera, 6-way powered driver seat, electronic parking brake (EPB), Auto-Selection Seats and Auto-Fund Seats and Auto-Dimbing Inside Rear-Vyu Mirror (IRVM). From a mechanical point of view, there is no change in Mahindra Scorpio N. It has a 2.0-liter turbo petrol and 2.2-liter diesel engines, which provide options for both manual and automatic gearbox. Currently, the initial price of SUV is Rs 13.99 lakh (ex-showroom).
