Trinamool Congress MP Mahua Moitra is once again in controversy over his statement. In fact, he had made a controversial remarks about Union Home Minister Amit Shah, after which a case has been registered against him in Chhattisgarh. Now the TMC leader has given clarification in this matter.
What did Mahua Moitra say in cleanliness?
Mahua Moitra clarified that this is just a saying (idiom) and his words were misunderstood. He said, “Idots do not undersrstand idioms” means “Foolish people do not understand idioms.” He further said, “After the results of the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, the foreign media wrote that this result is a setback for Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Everyone said that now ‘Heads will roll’ did not mean that someone would really be beheaded, but it has to decide the accountability.”

He further said, “Similarly, in Bengali language it means that there was so much embarrassment that he had to bow his head. That is to accept accountability. It is only an idiom.”
Mahua Moitra gave this statement
Mahua Moitra said in his earlier statement, “Amit Shah should be beheaded and placed on the table as he has failed to stop the infiltration of illegal Bangladeshis.” He further said, “They (Amit Shah) are only talking about the intruders. The security of the Indian border is the responsibility of the Ministry of Home Affairs. When Prime Minister Narendra Modi told the Red Fort on August 15 that the infiltration is taking place due to which the demography is changing, then the Home Minister was sitting in the line ahead and the Home Minister was clapping and laughing. There is no one to protect the Indian boundaries.”
