Whereas, in the coastal areas of Karnataka and Tamil Nadu, strong winds and heavy rain have been warned at a speed of 30 to 50 kilometers per hour.

The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued Orange and Yellow Alerts for many states of the country for the next few days. IMD has warned of heavy rains in 19 districts for Telangana. IMD has issued an orange alert for Nirmal, Nizamabad, Sangareddy, Medak and Kamaredy. At the same time, Yellow alert has been issued for 14 districts including Hyderabad and Adilabad. The department has said that there is a possibility of heavy rains in all these areas in the next 24 hours.
