A incident has come to light in MediPalli, Hyderabad, which embarrassed humanity. 27 -year -old Samala Mahendra Reddy, his 21 -year -old pregnant wife B.K. Swati was strangled to death and then cut the body into pieces and threw it into the Mussi river.

Case filed for dowry harassment against husband

Both were neighbors and the early days were happy, but only a month later, family disputes poisoned their relationship. In April 2024, Swati filed a case of dowry harassment against her husband in Vikarabad police.

The elders of the village made a compromise by panchayat, but the worm of suspicion sat in Mahendra’s mind. She objected to Swati’s job and forced Swati to quit her job. In March 2025, Swati was five months pregnant, but the quarrels were not taking the name of stopping.

Angry husband hatched a conspiracy to kill

On 22 August 2025, Swati spoke of going to the maternal home, which Mahendra turned down. In anger, he hatched a conspiracy to murder. He bought an ax blade and on August 23, Swati strangled her to death. To erase the evidence, he cut the body into pieces and threw the head, arms, legs into the Mussi river near Prathapsingaram village. He kept the torso in his room.

Rachkonda Police Commissioner Mr. G. Sudhir Babu and DCP Malkajgiri Zone Mrs. P.V. The Medipalli police led by Padmaja took prompt action. Inspector Mr. R. Govind Reddy and SI Shri A. Narsing Rao’s team arrested Mahendra.
