‘Muslims should be persecuted in Assam, action on CM should be taken’, Jamiat Ulema A Hind’s appeal
The meeting of the Executive Committee of Jamiat Ulema -e -Hind was held online on Wednesday (August 20, 2025), in which members of the executive committee of Jamiat Ulema A Hind from all over the country participated through the Zoom app.
The current circumstances of Assam were discussed in this meeting and the Executive Committee has demanded the constitutional institutions of the country, especially the President of India and the Chief Justice of India, that the Chief Minister of Assam should be sacked immediately and a hate speech cases should be registered against him.
Inhuman, grain -behavior in Assam
The proposal passed from the Executive Committee also states that Jamiat Ulema -e -Hind does not support illegal occupation of any government land, but it is very unfortunate that inhuman, food behavior, discrimination on the basis of religion and disgusting statements evicted in Assam. This entire process has been excluded from the purview of human sympathy and justice.
The recent statement of the Assam Chief Minister, in which he has said that we are only evicting Mian-Muslims, there is evidence that these actions are based on the spirit of Muslim enmity. A serious example of this is that more than fifty thousand families displaced so far are 100 percent Muslims. This attitude is not only contrary to the Constitution of India, but also an open violation of the clear guidelines of the Supreme Court.
Government should give housing to desolate families
The Executive Committee has also demanded that the government should immediately arrange for alternative housing and rehabilitation for all the families destroyed. Transparent and fair survey should be conducted before any action of eviction, all legal requirements and human values ​​should be fully respected. Discriminated and hate-based statements should be immediately banned by ministers and government representatives.
The meeting of the Executive Committee was held under the chairmanship of Maulana Mahmud Asad Madni, President of Jamiat Ulema -e -Hind, in which the topics of present -day current -time, such as the ongoing massacre in Palestine, were also discussed in detail and important decisions were made.
Concern over the ongoing massacre in Palestine
The Executive Committee expressed deep grief and condolences on the massacre and inhuman atrocities in Palestine said that killing about one lakh people and dying of hunger and thirst of common citizens is a very disgusting example of terrorism. In addition, there is a conspiracy to eradicate Palestine and occupy the remaining land.
He said that long siege and assistance restrictions in Gaza have brought millions of innocent people to the brink of death. Stopping the supply of food items, medicine and basic needs is a clear violation of human principles.
Forced Israel, open routes
Jamiat Ulema -e -Hind has appealed to the Arab world and international community to unite against Israeli aggression, fail its expansionist plans, protect the holy sites and force Israel to open the routes, ensure free supply of help materials and follow the ceasefire. Jamiat has warned that the inaction of world powers further promotes more crimes.
