The Indian Navy is going to name IFC-IOR Center in Gurgaon on Friday (September 12, 2025). This naval station will be commissioned in the presence of Tripathi of Admiral Dinesh, Navy Chief.
The Navy’s Infrastructure Fusion Center-Indian Ocean Region (IFC) is used as War-Room. The entire Indian Ocean is monitored from here. For this, all the warships of the Indian Navy are connected to the ships, submarines and radar stations located on sea cots. Also, IFC has been added to satellite communication.
Partnership for safety and security
INS Aravalli will support various information and communication centers, which are important for India and Indian Navy command, control and maritime domain awareness structure. The goal of IFC is partnership for safety and security.
In such a situation, the IFC collaborates with the navies of friendly, hijacking, smuggling, illegal fishing and human trafficking in the Indian Ocean.
FIC is connected with 50 international institutions
For this, the FIC collaborates with the navies of more than two dozen countries. Along with this, 24×7 is connected with this IFC of the Indian Navy with about 50 international institutions along with the Maritime agencies of the United Nations (UN).
