NIA files chargesheet in cyber terrism case, accused of treason against accused

The National Investigation Agency has filed a charge sheet against Jasim Shahnawaz Ansari in NIA Special Court in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. This case is related to attacking Dinyl of Service (DOS) on government websites.

This case was first registered by Gujarat ATS. When the investigation revealed that the accused and a minor together attacked the distributed Dinel of Service (DDOS) several times between March and May 2025. The target had an important website of the Government of India and the State Government. Apart from this, the accused also posted anti-national content on a telegram channel. Later, on the orders of the Ministry of Home Ahmedabad, the NIA Ahmedabad re -registered the case.

Advance hacking tools together with a minor

The NIA investigation revealed that the accused along with the minor used advance hacking tools, VPN and encrypted platform. After the attack, they were also promoted and apart from screenshots, inflammatory messages were shared. These attacks were carried out as a revenge against India’s Operation Sindoor, which aims to harm the unity, integrity and sovereignty of the country.

Digital forensic investigation also revealed that the accused not only made these attacks by making plans, but also taught illegal cyber technology to others and gave ways to hide their identity, so that the law can be avoided.

Charge sheet file against Jasim Shahnawaz Ansari

The case against the minor is already running in Juvenile Justice Board, Nadiad, Gujarat. Now NIA has filed a charge sheet against Jasim Shahnawaz Ansari under Section 66F of IT Act 2000 and Section 61 (2) (A) of the IT Act 2000 and Section 61 (2) (A) of 2023. NIA says that the investigation of the case is going on.
