‘No need to be disappointed about H-1B visa’, Shashi Tharoor said about Trump and Modi’s relationship

Congress MP and former Rynic Shashi Tharoor has given a big statement about the huge fees levied by the US President on H-1B visas. Shashi Tharoor said that even though Trump’s move is being seen as a third shock given by America to India, through this visa, Indians with high skills go to work in America, but in a long time it can prove beneficial for India.

Congress leader Shashi Tharoor said, ‘We do not need to be so disappointed about this H-1B case. This is just a shock, which was absolutely unexpected. This will harm some people and companies for some time. But such reactions are possible in medium-term, which can further strengthen the situation for us in the long run. We should not see ourselves as a victim every time.

Shashi Tharoor’s perspective showed different from Congress

This view of Shashi Tharoor, who was a minister in the government of former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, showed quite different and balanced from his party (Congress). At the same time, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi called Narendra Modi a weak Prime Minister on the issue of H-1B visa, trade tariffs between the US-India and other controversies. At the same time, Congress party national president Mallikarjun Kharge accused PM Modi that he has limited the gimmick of embracing foreign policy only.

Shashi Tharoor spoke about Trump’s behavior

However, in an interview to The Wire, Shashi Tharoor emphasized the unstable and unexpected nature of US President Donald Trump. He said, “If Trump could be negatively unexpected for us earlier this year, then in the coming months and years he could prove to be positively unpredictable for us.”

Congress leader argued about H-1B visa

Emphasizing his argument, the Congress leader said, “Regarding the decision of H-1B visa, many analysts believe that heavy fees will effectively eliminate visa programs and it will result in India’s favor.”
